Crawford recovering after being rushed to hospital

TRINIDAD and Tobago first Olympic Gold medallist Hasely Crawford has been resting comfortably and recovering from an unknown illness that sent him to a medical facility in St Augustine on Friday last.

Crawford fell ill while driving home last week Friday and was immediately rushed to the medical facility in St Augustine where many different tests were done on the 1976 Montreal, Canada Olympic medallist.

Newsday understand that it is the second time that Crawford was hospitalised for the year. But on Friday last he could not drive to the medical institution on his own, Newsday was reliably informed.

He was discharged from the medical facility on Saturday.
