TT 4x400 team out World Indoors

THE National Association of Athletics Administration has revealed that the national 4x400m men’s relay team that was selected for the World Indoor Championships in Soport, Poland from March 7-9 will not be competing again.

The squad has thus been reduced to five as Jereem Richards has opted out of the championships because of school commitments, thus leaving the 4x400 team down to a bare four.

With this situation arising, quarter-miler Lalonde Gordon’s management team has asked that he be excused from the 4x400 as he is experiencing some difficulties with his groin, and running three rounds of the individual event then two rounds of the relay may be too much for the athlete.

TT revised team to Poland: Michelle-Lee Ahye (60m), Geronne Black (60), Lalonde Gordon (400m), Jarrin Solomon (400m). Paul Voisin (manager/coach).
