Athletics Carifta

Keshorn Walcott got the ball rolling two years ago bringing home gold at the 2012 Olympics in the Javelin event. Now T&T stands to benefit with another up and coming javelin athlete in Shakeil Waithe. The 18 year old took the gold medal in the Under 20 category at the CARIFTA Games with a throw of 67.53 metres.

At six foot seven he is an athlete who stands out, as you will see in this report.
