D’Andrade, Gutierrrez top ArcelorMittal Charity 5K

ArticleTeLionel D’Andrade took the top honours at the inaugural ArcelorMittal Charity 5K Run/Walk held on Saturday at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port-of-Spain. D’Andrade crossed the line ahead of Devon Scotland who placed second and Ted John who claimed the bronze medal.

In the women’s category, there was no stopping Thais Gutierrez who clinched the gold. The event attracted a large turnout of participants all making their presence felt in support of the SickKids Foundation.

The main highlight of this event was to raise awareness on paediatric cancer and serious blood disorders in the Caribbean; and also raise funds to improve the outcomes for affected children in Trinidad and Tobago.
