Fatima 5k run set for Saturday

Fatima College will host its annual five kilometre run on Saturday, starting at the school’s compound on Mucurapo Road, St James, from 6 am.

Staff, students and their parents have been invited to participate. Students and staff can participate free of charge, while parents will pay a registration fee of $40.

Registration takes place outside the school hall, from 5 am on the morning of the race.

Runners will take off on Mucurapo Road, make their way up Danian Street, then onto Serpentine Road from the Western Main Road. The route continues on Wainwright Street then right onto Rapsey Street and onto Saddle Road.

On Saddle Road, runners will reach Long Circular Road, where they will make the make the distance back to the Western Main Road and onto Lucknow Street and back down to the college.

There will be prizes on offer for the top ten finishers and the first placed finishers from Forms One to Three, while medals will be given to the top 100 finishers.

The class and house with the most finishers will also be rewarded.
