Bledman’s ‘I Believe’ inspires
Kwame Laurence :: Trinidad Express :: 01.12.2016Keston Bledman is one of the fastest men in the world. With a personal best of 9.86 seconds in the 100 metres dash, the 28-year-old track star is joint-16th on the all-time global performance list and joint-second on the Trinidad and Tobago list.
Running fast, however, is what Bledman does, and needs to be distinguished from who he is. As the sprinter explained, he is a young man "with a passion for the well-being of children and youths". In an effort to make a "huge difference" in their lives, Bledman launched the "I Believe Challenge".
He spoke about the initiative in a Facebook post.
