Record reset proposal rubbished by NACAC

North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletics Association (NACAC) president Victor Lopez is not in favour of the proposal by European Athletics president Svein Arne Hansen to rewrite the world record books.

Hansen's self-proclaimed "revolutionary" response to doping concerns would see "most world and European records" replaced. But the NACAC Council has rejected the idea.
