Richards, Williams named Abilene Athletes of the Year
Kwame Laurence :: Trinidad Express :: 24.10.2017Jereem "The Dream" Richards and Domonique Williams were named Senior Athletes of the Year at the Abilene Wildcats 2017 awards ceremony, held at the Bethel World Outreach Ministries in Arima, two weekends ago.
Richards was adjudged Abilene's top male athlete after securing men's 200 metres bronze and 4x400m gold at the IAAF World Championships in London, England. The University of Alabama student also became Trinidad and Tobago's second sub-20 sprinter with a 19.97 seconds scorcher in Kentucky, USA.
