If it's true that only big people with big reputations can get anything done in this country, then let's hope Jereem Richards can be the engineer of change for the suffering athletics community in his Point Fortin hometown. He may be a skinny little fella with a modest, engaging manner but the soon-to-be 24-year-old (January 13) is the biggest name on the track for Trinidad and Tobago at the moment as part of the gold medal-winning quartet in the mile relay at the World Championships in London last August, an unforgettable moment that followed his bronze medal in the individual 200 metres.
