DEFENDING CHAMPIONS, Venezuelan Jose Alejandro Vare and Kenyan Leah Kigen will headline the list of runners when the 36th annual Trinidad and Tobago International Marathon (TTIM) is run off tomorrow.

The individual marathon contenders will run simultaneously with the popular Team Relay which offers competition for schools, corporate teams and others. The 26.2 mile (42k) event begins at Freeport Junction, snakes through central Trinidad to Montrose Junction, then along the Southern Main Road to Curepe and via Farm Road onto the Eastern Main Road.

From there, runners head to Port of Spain, through Woodbrook, and finally end up at White Hall around the Queen's Park Savannah.
