Jereem cruises: Greaux in 200 Semis too

Kwame Laurence :: Trinidad Express :: 10.04.2018

Jereem "The Dream" Richards looks set to challenge for the men's 200 metres title at the 2018 Commonwealth Games here in Gold Coast, Australia. In yesterday's opening round, the 2017 IAAF World Championship half-lap bronze medallist cruised to victory in heat five in 20.33 seconds to lead all qualifiers into today's semifinal round.

"It felt really good," Richards told the Express. "The weather here is a lot like Trinidad and Tobago, so there's not much to really adjust to. I tried to win as easily as possible. I was relaxed and I finished healthy, so thank you God for that. I'm just looking forward to the next round."
