WE GAVE ALL

Relay teams finish fourth in 4 x 400, 4 x 100

Kwame Laurence :: Trinidad Express :: 15.04.2018

Jereem "The Dream" Richards will carry the Trinidad and Tobago flag at the 2018 Commonwealth Games closing ceremony at the Carrara Stadium here in Gold Coast, Australia, this morning (TT time). The honour is fitting for a man who has flown the "Red, White and Black" with distinction, striking gold in Thursday's men's 200 metres final.

Richards was at it again, yesterday, his fighting second leg run giving T&T a shot at the podium in the 4x400m final. But in the end, it was not enough, the 2017 world champions finishing fourth in three minutes, 02.85 seconds. Botswana (3:01.78), Bahamas (3:01.92) and Jamaica (3:01.97) earned gold, silver and bronze, respectively.
