GREAUX SCALPS MERRITT

Kyle Greaux claimed a big scalp at the Cayman Invitational track and field meet in George Town, Cayman Islands, late on Saturday. The Trinidad and Tobago sprinter struck gold in the men's 200 metres in 20.45 seconds, forcing 2008 Olympic 400m champion LaShawn Merritt to settle for silver.

Merritt, a 2016 Olympic 200m finalist, got to the line in 20.54 seconds. His fellow American, Kyree King clocked 20.73 to bag bronze.
