Tyrell Edwards in World U-20 100 semis
Kwame Laurence :: Trinidad Express :: 10.07.2018Tyrell Edwards will do battle in the men's 100 metres semis at the IAAF World U20 Championships in Tampere, Finland, today. At 11.06am (TT time), the Trinidad and Tobago sprinter faces the starter in the third and final heat.
In yesterday's opening round, Edwards was fourth in heat six in 10.57 seconds, finishing behind Jamaica's Michael Stephens (10.30), Bahamian Joel Johnson (10.34) and American Anthony Schwartz (10.40). The top three progressed automatically, while Edwards advanced on time.
