Jereem 5th in Monaco
Kwame Laurence :: Trinidad Express :: 21.07.2018Trinidad and Tobago track star Jereem "The Dream" Richards grabbed fifth spot in the men's 200 metres event at the Herculis IAAF Diamond League meet, in Monaco, yesterday (Friday). He clocked 20.16 seconds.
Noah Lyles was a runaway winner, the 21-year-old American sensation stopping the clock at a world-leading 19.65 seconds—a new personal best and meet record. Turkey's Ramil Guliyev finished a distant second, the reigning world champion getting home in 19.99. Ecuador's Alex Quinonez and Panama's Alonzo Edward were third and fourth, respectively, clocking 20.03 and 20.15.
