Cleopatra Borel re-wrote the history books here in Barranquilla, Colombia, late yesterday, the Trinidad and Tobago thrower winning the women's shot put to complete a Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games golden hat-trick.
Borel threw the iron ball 18.14 metres in the fifth round of the competition to snatch gold from the grasp of Cuba's Yaniuvis Lopez, becoming the first three-time winner of the event.
