DIAMOND BRONZE

Jereem 3rd in fast Zurich 200

Kwame Laurence :: Trinidad Express :: Trinidad Express :: 01.09.2018

Jereem "The Dream" Richards finished strong in the IAAF Diamond League Final men's 200 metres event in Zurich, Switzerland, yesterday, the Trinidad and Tobago track star getting home in 20.04 seconds to pick up bronze.

Drawn way out in lane eight, Richards ran the bend blind. But the Point Fortin sprinter did enough in the first half of the race to keep himself in contention. He then turned on the heat on the straight, surging past Aaron Brown, the Canadian forced to settle for fourth in 20.14.
