Ahye shows class in 150m street race
Kwame Laurence :: Trinidad Express :: Trinidad Express :: 08.09.2018Michelle-Lee Ahye outclassed her rivals in the Great North City Games in Newcastle, England, yesterday, getting to the line in a wind-assisted 16.49 seconds to grab gold in the women's 150 metres street race.
Contested on a straight pop-up track, Ahye was the dominant sprinter in the event, the Trinidad and Tobago track star finishing well ahead of Daryll Neita, the runner-up in 16.80 seconds.
