Keshorn, Bmobile host children’s Christmas party

DOUBLE Olympic medallist and Bmobile brand ambassador Keshorn Walcott brought Christmas cheer to five children's homes during his second annual Christmas treat recently.

One hundred children from the Margaret Kistow's home in Arima, Ferndean's Place in Point Fortin, the Bridge of Hope home in Sangre Chiquito, Our Lady of the Wayside in Belmont and Casa de Corazon in Sangre Grande, were treated to a day of fun and games held at his residence in Toco.

Walcott said the preparation for the event was hectic but it was all worth seeing the smiles on the children's faces.

"I found that hosting one home (St Dominic's) was not enough last year, and I wanted to do something even bigger and better, because I would like this event to grow. If I can reach out to all the homes over a period of time, then yes, that would be my ultimate goal." he said.

Walcott thanked Bmobile for their assistance in ensuring the day was packed with entertainment for the children. Bmobile's specially designed Play Centre was also a big hit with the youngsters, and some showed off their dancing moves on a massive screen, while playing "Just Dance Unlimited" on an Xbox One.
