Gold Coast glory

Jereem "The Dream" Richards, Michelle-Lee Ahye and Deon Lendore were in the spotlight as Trinidad and Tobago enjoyed international success on the track early in 2018.

In April, at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia, Richards produced a golden run in the men's 200 metres event. It was no straightforward victory, the half-lap show ending in joy for "The Dream" but sorrow for his Anguillan-born English rival Zharnel Hughes.
