Jereem Richards, Michelle-Lee Ahye and swimmer Dylan Carter are all set to collect thousands of US dollars under the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC) Medal Bonus initiative for their exploits at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in Australia.

Team TTO last won more than one gold at the Commonwealth Games at the 1966 edition hosted in Jamaica (five gold, two silver and two bronze).

Meanwhile, at a post cabinet media conference, Minister in the office of the Prime Minister and Minister in the office of the Attorney General and Legal Affairs, Stuart Young said there would be rewards for the Commonwealth medallists under the Government's National Policy On Sport (NPS) and The Adoption of a Formal Incentives and Rewards Framework issued to the media on March 17.
