St Hillaire rules in TobagoKwame Laurence :: Trinidad Express :: 20.01.2017Dwight St Hillaire was dominant in completing the men's 200/400 double at the National Association of Athletics Administrations (NAAA) development meet, in Bacolet, Tobago, on Sunday. St Hillaire completed a lap of the Dwight Yorke Stadium track in 47.71 seconds for a huge margin of victory in the 400 metres event. And in the 200, the Kaizen Panthers athlete won in 21.15. Anya Akili had a busy day, winning the women's 200m and long jump events as well as the girls' under-20 100m hurdles. The Panthers athlete clocked 25.83 seconds in the 200 and 15.39 in the sprint hurdles. And in the long jump, she produced a 5.27 metres leap. There was a triple triumph too for another Panthers athlete, Justin Guy. He won the boys' under-18 100m dash in 11.96 seconds, the 100m hurdles in 15.28, and the 400m hurdles in one minute, 02.64 seconds. Chelsea James landed a throwing double.
