Silver for George-Francis, Montique at Masters

Trinidad Guardian :: 23.10.2013

Geraldine George-Francis and Andie Montique were denied double gold at the 20th World Masters Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Port Alegre, Brazil yesterday. George-Francis had to settle for second in the women’s 40-44 shot put with a best throw of 11.69m. The Bon Accord sprinter clocked 23.40 to finish behind Brazilian Ricardo Itacaramby who won in 22.96 seconds. Will Mc Gee of Great Britain was third.
