Injured Jehue to skip Pan Am Games

Jehue Gordon will skip the Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada because of injury.

A National Association of Athletics Administrations (NAAA) press release, yesterday, explained that the 2013 men's 400 metres hurdles world champion “has been withdrawn on medical grounds, following a request from his doctor and management team.

“The young athlete,” the release continued, “is nursing a minor injury and it was felt best to allow him time to recuperate rather than be subject to intense competition ahead of the upcoming IAAF World Championships in Beijing.”
