Sean Taylor :: Trinidad Express :: 03.01.2016

Ace women's 100-metre specialist Michelle-Lee Ahye won the Senior Female Athlete of the Year award, while 400m sensation Machel Cedenio walked away with yet another award when he won the male equivalent to the title at the National Association of Athletics Adminstrations' (NAAA) Annual Awards function held at the Festival Ballroom at Radisson Hotel, Port of Spain on Saturday night.

Ahye was an integral part of the women's 4x100m relay team that won bronze at the IAAF World Championships in Beijing China last August. The achievement went into the record book as the women's quartet was T&T's first to medal at the World Championships.
