Lalonde, Solomon golden

Olympic 4x400 metres bronze medallists Lalonde Gordon and Jarrin Solomon were in winners' row at indoor meets in the United States, on the weekend.

At the New Balance Games, in New York, on Sunday, Gordon struck gold in the men's 300 metres event in a world-leading 32.83 seconds. Another Trinidad and Tobago runner, Adrian Crichlow was sixth in 35.52.

Gordon was also at the top of the 2016 global indoor 200m list at 20.77 seconds, but is now third.

Alena Brooks returned a time of one minute, 31.21 seconds for top spot in the New Balance Games women's 600m.
