Ahye golden at Bobcat
Kwame Laurence :: Trinidad Express :: 03.04.2016Michelle-Lee Ahye had a busy weekend on the track, notching victories at two meets in Texas, USA.
On Saturday, Ahye triumphed in the Texas Relays women's 100 metres event in 11.25 seconds, and also teamed up with Kelly-Ann Baptiste, Reyare Thomas and Khalifa St Fort to secure 4x100m gold for Trinidad and Tobago in 43.06.
But before her double triumph at the famous Texas Relays, Ahye was in action at the relatively low-key Bobcat Invitational, winning Friday's 100m dash in a wind-assisted 11.13 seconds. She was 34th overall in the 400m in one minute, 01.67 seconds.
