Trinidad and Tobago quartermiler wins in Jamaica in 44.37

Machel Cedenio produced a scorcher at the Racers Grand Prix, in Jamaica, on Saturday night, the 20-year-old quartermiler stopping the clock at 44.37 seconds for gold in the men's 400 metres event.

Cedenio, his Trinidad and Tobago teammate Lalonde Gordon, Grenada's Bralon Taplin and Jamaican Javon Francis were closely bunched coming off the final turn.
