London silver for Ahye, Lendore

Michelle-Lee Ahye produced her second legal sub-11 run this season to pick up women's 100 silver at the Muller Anniversary Games IAAF Diamond League meet, in metresLondon, England, yesterday.

The Trinidad and Tobago sprint star got to the line in 10.99 seconds to finish behind Marie-Josee Ta Lou in the final, the Ivory Coast sprinter winning in 10.96 to equal the personal best clocking she had produced in the qualifying round. Jamaica's two-time Olympic 100m champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce clocked 11.06 for bronze.
