Ato lashes ‘half-way’ prep

Gives pass to ‘aging’ men’s sprinters

Four-time Olympic medallist Ato Boldon has blasted the "half-way" preparation of the country's relay teams team for the just-concluded Rio Olympics.

Boldon, now a TV analyst and coach, said he had warned the National Association of Athletics Administrations (NAAA) that the women's team needed to improve from their 42.03-second 2015 Beijing World Championships bronze medal effort to mount the podium in Rio.
