Olympic medallists, Lalonde Gordon and Emmanuel Callender were in winners' row at indoor track and field meets in the United States, last Saturday.

Gordon was the class of the men's 200 metres field at the Great Dane Classic in New York, the 2012 Olympic 400m bronze medallist winning his season-opener in 20.95 seconds. The Trinidad and Tobago athlete finished ahead of Dutchman Liemarvin Bonevacia (21.41) and Dominican Republic's Luguelin Santos (21.59).

In New Mexico, Callender made light work of his rivals in the Martin Luther King Jr Invitational men's 60m dash. The two-time Olympic sprint relay silver medallist got to the line in a personal best 6.72 seconds for a comfortable cushion on second-placed Jacques Hall, the American clocking 6.88.
