Dan-Neil Telesford was the class of the men's 200 metres field at the Bobcat Invitational in Texas, USA, on the weekend. With a strong 4.3 metres per second following wind at his back, the Trinidad and Tobago sprinter got home in 21.03 seconds for top spot in the half-lap event.

Telesford's 10.38 run in the 100m dash was also wind-assisted. The 26-year-old athlete was fifth fastest in that event. Jesse Berkley, meanwhile, finished 27th overall in 10.85. His Wiley College teammate, Machael Mark was 28th in a windy 10.86.

Texas A&M University's Infinite Tucker finished first in section four and fifth overall in the men's 400m hurdles in 52.79 seconds. Wiley's Kendell Perouza returned a time of one minute, 01.23 seconds for 25th spot.

All five T&T sprinters in the women's 100m dash were pushed by illegal winds—above the 2.0 metres per second limit. Tsai-Anne Joseph was the fastest of the quintet, the University of Missouri student finishing 12th overall in 11.79 seconds. Wiley's Terrisa Mark and Danielle David were 24th and 25th, respectively, clocking 12.08 and 12.09. Abilene Christian University's Jessica King was 27th in 12.11. And another Wiley athlete, Kenisha Arthur clocked 12.26 for 39th spot.

Sterlen Paul was 13th fastest in the men's 800m, the Abilene Christian athlete completing his two laps of the track in 1:54.18. Wiley's Darion De La Rosa was 45th in 2:02.94.

David's 57.10 seconds run earned her 20th spot overall in the women's 400m. In the men's 400m, Wiley's Roger Ali was 36th in 50.38, while Jamil James and Paul were 40th and 50th, respectively, clocking 50.66 and 51.94.

De La Rosa clocked 4:36.62 for 36th spot in the men's 1,500m. David and Arthur were joint-42nd in the women's 200m, both athletes getting to the line in a wind-aided 25.21 seconds. And King clocked a windy 25.50 for 55th spot overall.
