Baptiste wins at Bolt farewellTrinidad Express :: 12.06.2017Kelly-Ann Baptiste was in winners' row at the JN/Racers Grand Prix meet in Kingston, Jamaica, on Saturday night. The Trinidad and Tobago track star struck gold in the women's 100 metres dash in 11.13 seconds, beating American Jenna Prandini (11.16) and Jamaican Natasha Morrison (11.26) to the line. There were two podium positions for T&T in the men's 400m. Lalonde Gordon seized silver in 45.18 seconds, while Machel Cedenio clocked 45.57 to bag bronze. Jamaican Demish Gaye won in 44.73. T&T sprinter Keston Bledman got to the line in 10.22 seconds for bronze in the men's 100m. Jamaican Yohan Blake stopped the clock at 9.97, getting home ahead of South Africa's Akani Simbine (10.00).
