Schools cross-country on today at QP Savannah

THE 2017/2018 Secondary Schools Track and Field season gets underway today with the annual Cross Country run and Health Fair at the Queen's Park Savannah in Port of Spain.

The Cross-Country Run and Health Fair is the first event on the calendar of the Trinidad and Tobago Secondary Schools Track and Field Association (TTSSTFA).

Athletes from across the country will be competing for their school teams and for individual honours.  The defending team champions of the Cross-Country Run are Toco Secondary and Otis Baker will lead the charge for them when the competition gets underway at 2 p.m.
