Baboolal wins again

Maritime 5K title for 'Savannah King'

Shirvan Baboolal continued his fine run of form with victory in the Maritime 5K Costume Run for Fun, at the Nelson Mandela Park, in St Clair, on Saturday.

Baboolal completed the course—which took the runners around the Queen's Park Savannah and back to Mandela Park—in 15 minutes, 44 seconds to take the $1,500 first prize, forcing George Smith (15:57) and Guyanese Kelvin Johnson (16:08) into second and third, respectively.
