Ahye bags Berlin bronzeKwame Laurence :: Trinidad Express :: 26.01.2018Michelle-Lee Ahye bagged bronze in the women's 60 metres dash at the ISTAF Indoor track and field meet in Berlin, Germany, yesterday. The Trinidad and Tobago sprint star got to the line in a season's best 7.16 seconds to finish behind German Tatjana Pinto, the winner in 7.13, and Switzerland's Mujinga Kambundji (7.14). In the qualifying round, Ahye finished third in heat one in 7.22 seconds. Tinto got home first in a world-leading 7.08, with her fellow-German Gina Luckenkemper second in 7.21. Kambundji clocked 7.17 to top heat two.
