Alexander wins again

AYANNA ALEXANDER outclassed the women's triple jump field at the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) Winter Relays in Virginia, USA, last Saturday. The Trinidad and Tobago athlete disturbed the sand at 13.06 metres to jump away with gold. American Jantsen Wilson produced an 11.45m effort to finish a distant second.

Alexander has three wins in four outings this season. The 35-year-old opened her campaign on December 9 with a 13.09m winning jump at the Christopher Newport University (CNU) Holiday Open in Virginia.
