Wickham grabs OVC gold

Trinidad and Tobago pentathlon record for Gittens

Lisa Wickham captured the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) Indoor Track and Field Championship women's 60 metres title in Illinois, USA, on Saturday. The Tennessee Technological University sophomore stopped the clock at a personal best 7.41 seconds. The clocking is a new OVC Championship record.

Another Trinidad and Tobago/Tennessee Tech athlete, Khemani Roberts accumulated 3,834 points to strike gold in the women's pentathlon. In the high jump, Roberts bagged bronze with a 1.70 metres clearance. And in the 4x400m relay, she ran the third leg in Tennessee Tech's three minutes, 45.92 seconds golden run. Roberts disturbed the sand at 5.41m to secure ninth spot in the long jump.
