Gold, silver and 2 bronze for T&TTrinidad Express :: 31.03.2018 TEAM TTO's Veayon Joseph won the first medals Trinidad and Tobago at the Flow-sponsored 47th Carifta Games when he captured the Boys Under-17 javelin with a throw of 55.92 metres, on the opening day at the Thomas A Robinson National Stadium in Nassau, the Bahamas yesterday. Up to press time last evening, the T&T medal count stood at four. Avindale Thomas claimed silver in the Boys U-17 400m while Junior Sportswoman of the Year Iana Roach (Girls U-20 shot put) and Akilah Lewis (Girls U-20 100) added to Team TTO's first-day tally.
