Durant defends Abilene sprint title

Kamaria Durant is expected to defend her Abilene Track Classic women's 100 metres title at the Larry Gomes Stadium, in Arima, on Saturday. The Simplex sprinter was victorious last year in 11.72 seconds, and is tipped to repeat her success in 2018. Durant is also listed for action in the 200m event.

Jerod Elcock, Jalen Purcell and John-Mark Constantine are among the entrants in the men's 100m. Elcock and Purcell will also compete in the 200m, along with quartermiler Tacuma Sterling. In the 400m, Sterling will clash with Darren Alfred and Dan-Neil Telesford.
