Ahye seizes ‘Street’ silver

Trinidad and Tobago track star Michelle-Lee Ahye seized silver in the women's 150 metres event at the adidas Boost Boston Games, in the United States, yesterday. Running on an elevated, straight track on Charles Street, Ahye got to the line in 16.57 seconds to finish behind Bahamian Shaunae Miller-Uibo, the winner in 16.23.

Ahye battled well, but Miller-Uibo's 400 strength gave her a decided advantage in the latter stages of the race, the Olympic one-lap champion finishing well ahead of Ahye and third-placed Sashalee Forbes (16.75) of Jamaica.
