Shukla tops Sea to Sea 'Half'

Evergreen Cox third in marathon

Samantha Shukla captured the Sea to Sea Half Marathon women's title in Tobago on Sunday. Shukla completed the 13.1 mile course from Goodwood to Lambeau in one hour, 29 minutes, 50 seconds to emerge as the most outstanding Trinidad and Tobago athlete on the weekend.

Venezuelan Pedro Mora won Sunday's men's marathon in 2:39:03, with the women's crown going to Colombia's Palmenia Agudelo in 3:03:08. Ethiopian Alene Reta topped the men's half-marathon in 1:07:45.
