Stewart golden in Hampton shot putKwame Laurence :: Trinidad Express :: 27.05.2018 Akeem Stewart grabbed Hampton International Games men's shot put gold at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, yesterday. The para athletics star threw 18.49 metres. Hezekiel Romeo picked up silver with a 17.54m effort, with bronze going to Kesean Phillips (15.69m). Deon Lendore was billed as the headline act at Hampton 2018. However, following long delays in the day one programme, the Trinidad and Tobago quartermiler withdrew from the men's 400 metres event.
