Jordan makes amends…bags 5 Juvenile Champs gold medals
Kwame Laurence :: Trinidad Express :: 17.06.2018Janika Jordan made amends for her day one 100 metres disqualification with a command performance in the NGC/NAAA National Juvenile Track and Field Championship girls' under-13 200m final at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, yesterday.
Following Jordan's false start on Saturday, Janae De Gannes claimed the century title. But Jordan made a strong statement in the longer sprint, the Cougars athlete coming off the turn in front and building on that lead on the straight for a comfortable victory in 25.47 seconds.
