Ahye secures ISTAF silver
Kwame Laurence :: Trinidad Express :: Trinidad Express :: 03.09.2018Michelle-Lee Ahye secured silver in the women's 100 metres dash at the ISTAF IAAF World Challenge meet in Berlin, Germany, yesterday. The reigning Commonwealth Games champion clocked 11.13 seconds to finish behind Ivory Coast sprinter Marie-Josee Ta Lou, the winner in 11.08.
Gina Luckenkemper produced a solid run in front of her home fans, the German athlete claiming third spot in 11.18 seconds. Great Britain's Daryll Neita and American Dezerea Bryant were fourth and fifth, respectively, clocking 11.24 and 11.29.
