Sanchez, Agudelo claim UWI ‘Half’ crowns; Shukla betters best
Kwame Laurence :: Trinidad Express :: 28.10.2018Venezuelan Didimo Sanchez and Colombian Palmenia Agudelo outran their rivals to claim top honours in the First Citizens UWI SPEC International Half-Marathon, in St Augustine, yesterday.
Sanchez was the class of the field in the men's race, returning a time of one hour, eight minutes, 49 seconds for a huge four-minute cushion on his fellow-Venezuelan Pedro Mora, the runner-up in 1:12:49.
