TTO Contingent for NACAC Championships 2018

Team TTO at IAAF World Junior Champs 2018

Tampere, Finland will host the IAAF July 10th to 15th 2018 at the Tampere Stadium. Team TTO has well at these Championships. In 1992, one of our country's better years, Ato Boldon won the 100m and 200m titles in Seoul, South Korea. This feat was the first ever double sprint champion in World Junior Championship history. Winning all six categories of the First Citizens Sports Foundation 2017 Awards was not an easy accomplishment!. Our sport had a clean sweep in both the senior and junior categories as well as Team of the year (4x400m men's). Also, the Jeffrey Stollmeyer Award which is presented to the National Governing Sporting Body that has outstandingly showcased while making significant improvements in its administration and towards the development of its athletes was won by our Association. Tonya Nero for IAAF 2018 World Half Marathon

T&T's No 1 Distance athlete, Tonya Nero, will represent Trinidad and Tobago at the IAAF World Half Marathon Championships, to be held in Valencia Spain on 24 March 2018. Nero achieved the qualifying standard for the Commonwealth Games on 26 January, 2018 at the Dubai Marathon in a time of 2hrs:47 minutes and:13 seconds. See release PDF …

NAAATT Announces CARIFTA Team 2018

Bahamas will host the 47th Edition of the CARIFTA Games on March 30th to April 2nd 2018 at the Thomas Robinson Stadium. The Games will bring together some 500 athletes and 150 team officials from 26 countries, all among the best track and field athletes in the Caribbean. The Games consists of 65 track and field events including sprint races, hurdles, middle distance track events, jumping, throwing events, and relays in line with the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) guidelines for junior athletes. 2018 IAAF World Indoor Championships

With just nine days to go for the eagerly anticipated 2018 IAAF World Indoor Championships, the National Association of Athletics Administrations of Trinidad and Tobago has finalised their team. The Championships is scheduled to take place in Birmingham, England during the period March 01st to 04th, 2018.

The Trinidad and Tobago Team is expected to depart on February 27th and return on March 05th, 2018. Lead by Team manager and President of the NAAATT Ephraim Serrette is very optimistic about the team's performance. See release PDF …

TEAM TTO at PAN / NACAC Cross Country Championships 2018

The PAN AM/NACAC Cross Country Championships is scheduled to take place in El Salvador on the February 17, 2018. The event will be held in the Cavalry Regiment, in Opico which has hosted various local, regional Central American Cross Country Championships. Team TTO is lead by Manager Dawn Washington and Coach Richard Jones which departed on February 13th & 14th and return on February 18, 2018.

It is expected the participation of some 180 athletes from 20 countries: Belize, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, United States, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela and the host nation of El Salvador See release PDF
