Hurdler Ruebin Walters was among the leading performances by T&T athletes at several meets across the United States over the weekend.

The Unattached athlete won a gold medal in the men's 110 metres hurdles at the Crimson Tide Invitational in Tuscaloosa in Alabama with a time of 13.60 seconds. Following the local hurdler to the line in second place was Robert Dunning (Adidas) with 13.95 and in the third spot was Louisiana senior Yves Cherubin with 13.99.

Alabama sophomore Ayla Stanisclaus had success at her school's invitational meet, placing second in the women's 100m with 11.43w (2.4) behind her schoolmate sophomore Talaya Lewis (11.36) ahead of Louisiana sophomore Kiana Foster (11.66). In the 200m, she placed 11th overall with 24.52.

However, Stanisclaus returned in the 4x100m relay as part of the Alabama quartet who won gold with 44.41 in the timed final.

Tokyo Olympian Dwight St Hillaire grabbed four medals at the Kentucky Track & Field Invitational, three gold and bronze. The University of Kentucky senior reached the top of the podium in the men's 400m and both the 4x100m and 4x400m relay and third in the 200m dash.

St Hillaire crossed the line in a time of 46.20 to dominate the one-lap event, finishing narrowly ahead of schoolmate sophomore Kennedy Lightner, who clocked the same 46.20-time and St Louis sophomore Danny Hopkins (48.50).

In the 200m, he clocked 20.38 to place third behind Christian Coleman (Nike) with 19.92 abd Kentucky sophomore Lance Lange (20.30). He then partnered with Lang, Lightner along with Jacob Smith to win the 4x100m with 39.18 and again teamed up with Lang and Lightner as well as Kenroy Williams to also dominate the 4x400m with 3:05.67.

Field athlete Portious Warren, another Tokyo Olympian, copped silver in women's shot put with a 17.27m-heave at the Alabama meet. She fouled the opening two rounds and then landed her first mark in the third round with 16.53m and then took the lead with 17.27m against eventual winner Ole Miss junior Jalani Davis. However, Davis regained the lead in the fifth round with 17.73m.

Unfortunately, Warren (Unattached) fouled the final two attempts and stayed on for the second place ahead of third-placed, Tennessee senior Latavia Maines with 16.99m.

Khalifa St Fort (AdiPure) placed seventh in the women's 100m at the Pure Athletics Spring Invitational in Clermont, Florida.

The AdiPure sprinter clocked 11.29 in a race that was won by clubmate Ashanti Moore with 10.96 followed by Rebekka Haase (Track Team Germany) in 10.97 and Imani Lansiquot (Puma) in the third spot with 11.00.

St Fort placed sixth in the 200 metres sprint with a time of 23.94-clocking. Corinna Schwab won with 22.72 ahead of AdiPure pair Lynna Irby (22.91) and Murielle Ahoure-Demps 23.46.

On Saturday at the Michael Johnson Invitational at the Clyde Hart Track & Field Stadium in Waco, Texas, Taejha Badal placed 13th overall in the women's 100m with an 11.57-timing. In the 200m, Badal finished 15th with a time of 24.14.
