T&T's men's team of Dwight St Hillaire, Asa Guevara, Machel Cedenio and Jereem Richards, running in that order won gold in the men's 4x400 metres relay event at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England on Sunday.
The local quartet clocked three minutes and 01.89 seconds to cross the line ahead of Botswana with 3:01.85 and Kenya with a season's best 3:02.41 in the Alexander Stadium.
It was the second gold medal for anchor Richards, who on Saturday won the men's 200m with a Games recond and personal best time of 19.80.
